Device Error: 0x00030008

Device Error: 0x00030008

Problem:

Customer reported that while shooting they received the following error:

Reason:

This error means the computer lost connection to the device. It is a USB signal issue. The communication signal is not strong enough and has never reached the device, thus the error was returned stating that the device is not there.

Solution:

  1. Use a shorter USB cord to connect the device to the computer
  2. Use a better quality USB cord
  3. Potentially insert a powered USB hub between the device and the computer so the USB signal gets boosted as it goes from the computer to the device and also on the way back
