02. PackshotSphere X5 does not detect cameras
Problem:
Cameras Visible by
USB but cannot be detected by shutter release cables
When running the
camera detection step in the PackshotCreator
software to determine the location of each camera on the arm and the result is:
1.
No
cameras make a sound, AND
2.
Zero
cameras are detected, but all cameras are shown as ‘Connected’ by USB
Solution:
Check the settings
on your PC Board. In order for the PC
board to work properly the settings on the blue component on the board need to
be set to the Off position – like the picture below. If any are set to the On postion, the board
will not function proplery. In other
words, none of the cameras will fire when the shutter release asks them
to.
