Hyperfocus is a function realizing many photos of your products, shifting the focus. It put all the photos together and you get a photo completely sharp.
PackshotCreator software offers two different ways to realize Hyperfocus.
● Single-point Hyperfocus (Manual) :
Activate it :
● Go on General settings
● Click on Workflows
● Check the box to Use single-point hyperfocus
Go back on your preview workspace, set your lights, and choose the farthest point of your subject. Put it in the middle of the black focus rectangle and click on the magnifying icon.
This window appears :
Use those arrow to focus on the farthest point.
Click on the magnifying icon twice to be back on this window :
and choose the nearest point of your subject. Put it in the middle of the black focus rectangle and click on the magnifying icon.
Use the same left arrow than the "focus increment" arrow to focus to the nearest point. Count how many clicks you make and report the number in the number of images box.
Clic on the snap button.
In the end, click on Finish and your stacked photo will appear in your view workspace.
● Dual-points Hyperfocus (manual) :
You choose the number of picture that you want in your photo. It depends of the size of your product. More it will be big, more you will have to add pictures.
Activate it :
Go on General settings
Click on Workflows
Uncheck the Use single-point Hyperfocus box
On your preview workspace, click on snap.
This window appears :
With those arrows :
Choose your first sharpness point, that will be highlighted (in blue on "my blend" on the screenshot).
Then, the software will ask you to choose the increment (the shifting distance of the sharpness between two photos)
Click on Next.
Choose the number of pictures wanted for the hyperfocus and click on Next to launch it.
The picture on the screenshot is blurred because, when you choose your number of images, the sharp point is shifting as much as you add pictures.
After snapping all the pictures, click on Finish and your stacked photo will appear in your view workspace.
